DotA, or Defense(Defenders) Of The Ancients, is a Warcraft 3 Custom game map that involves two teams, each teams goal is to destroy the main headquarters of the opposing team. When the game begins each character is allowed to choose from a preset selection of Hero units. Upon selection the player is plunged into the game with computer controlled allies spawning in the base at set intervals. As certain buildings are destroyed, the spawn of computer units stops. The bases are also guarded by several series' of towers. To the best of my knowledge, they are always arrow towers. Each team is given a main headquarters building, aptly named "Headquarters" (can be seen by selecting the building). To destroy the headquarters, you need to fight the opposing teams heroes, computer units, and defensive towers until you are able to get to the main building, then all you must do is destroy, but this is still no easy task, the headquarters are given a lot of HP (if I remember correctly) and they take a while to respawn, meanwhile the enemy heroes will be respawning, and trying to kill you.
